Even though I can't be as good as them in communication skills (at least not yet), I should be competing only with myself to keep on improving.

It's important to believe that I can do it. That's half the battle won.

I must remember how I tried to muster any semblance of self-confidence in last year's exam. Cause I'm definitely going to need it this time around.

Believe in myself. yes.

I decided to hold my friends tightly in my heart, but loosely in my expectations of them, allowing them space to grow and to change - with or without me.

I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be honorable, to be compassionate. It is, after all, to matter: to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all.
Fate is only someone's excuse to not take responsiblity for their actions, and their reasons to not make their own choices.
Learning experiences shape what we can become, but it is us who choose what we want to become.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but we might as well dance.
