One of my pet peeves? Distant acquaintances who only talk to you when they need you for a favour. I mean, how obvious can you get?

i think i can still take acquaintances.. but what that really peeves me off the most is a person that used to be a close friend but didnt both keeping in touch and only talks when it's super obvious he/she needs something from u.. if that makes sense..; 10:28 PM

I decided to hold my friends tightly in my heart, but loosely in my expectations of them, allowing them space to grow and to change - with or without me.

I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be honorable, to be compassionate. It is, after all, to matter: to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all.
