A Usual Weekend. Albeit With A Few Differences..

Well, this weekend was a pretty good one... Very peaceful coz bro went for some Leo club thingy... Gone for three days! Yippee! Kinda give the ~~PeaCe~~ thingy another meaning leh...! lol. And I enjoyed it a lot except the part where I started feeling sick *Sorethroat* on saturday morning... What a lousy start to a weekend!! :T

Anyway, should have started to do my mountainous load of assignments. Instead I spent my time on9-ing (Is there such a word??) Only finished my maths homework.. which I did until late into the nite... Due to extreme procastinating... Shld I make it a dirty word here?? Oh dear! Gotta try to change this attitude lo... Arghh.

So did I do anything productive this weekend?? Eexcept on9-ing & playing on my PS2.. I dun think so...O.o.. Whatever.

Can't think of anything to write coz I alwiz hate writing abt things in the ancient past... [I'm writing this on tue... What can I say? Typical procastinator] and I totally have a short memory span for this sort of everyday stuff... Well well. Juz thk god that doesn't happen wif the thingsI study for test... or else 'charm' liao lo..

Since this is the case.. I will end my case here. (Yes, pun intended) Maybe I shld write about tue [today] then I won't forget lo... Alright then! Charge!!

Such A Stressful Week..!

Argghh.. That doesn't sound like a good beginning of a cheery post, right? So, if you're looking forward to a optimistic, rise-and-shine sort of post, I'm terribly afraid that you're looking in the wrong place... So, before you cry and rain blows onto the poor pc, maybe it would be a better idea to leave here now...

Don't the beginning sound a bit like Lemony Snicket??

Whatever. I'm trying not to work myself up into a mood. Ok, calm down.. *Deep breaths* Yeah... better!

Anyway, this week was totally crazy! Really hectic week!! I said so becoz I have tons of homework that I should be doing [instead of blogging la], Assignments!! Also juz sat for a Malaysian Studies test on fri [Totally hate studying for it.. Fell asleep halfway due to extreme boredomness of the text book... Zzz.]

Btw, you can still leave here if you want. You still got time...haha... =Q

I dunno what I shld write here coz feeling kinda frazzled.. I dunno what's wrong with the lecturers...! I wonder why they alwiz give a lot of homework at the same time...! Crazy! Then, sumtimes, we dun even have a single bit of homework.. So I just go home and shake leg Really!!

Makes a girl wonder what the world is coming to... Now, if the lecturers will juz sit down and coordinate their homework-giving schedule.. The world would be a better place for the younger generation.. seriously... Juz kiddin la. No such miracle ever gonna happen...if ever!

Whatever, dun really wanna talk about homework here in my blog. :(

Nothing special happened this week. Well, nothing that I can remember la.. So I think I'm gonna end this post here coz you readers will be seriously pissed off if I keep on babbling here... especially the seasoned readers...*Btw, thx for your support! Really appreciated..*

PS: Might add anything in a later post if I happen to think of something special... Till then, total nothing, Nada, Zilch!

Parent's Day Is So..

scary...! My anxiety levels were totally rising! Juz kidding..

I was pretty cool with it since i'm a good student--academic wise and behaviour wise (Well, at least, that's what I THINK!! Hope & hope... *Cross fingers*)

Btw, did I mention it was totally a long wait.. I came at around 8:15am coz it's suppose to start around 8am to 12pm... but leela asked us to come earlier so there I was... Forced out of bed by my dad... Feeling really sleepy but what to do?? Zzz... And I think it was because Leela specifically asked us all to come earlier that when I reached there wif my dad, there were oredi clusters of ppl oredi. Damn. So we waited and waited.. kinda like getting your passport eh..or IC la..

Anyway, I saw that poor Mr.Ranjit's table wasn't popular so pulled my dad over to talk to him... Imagine what my dad said to him! He asked Ranjit whether he was the author of a book abt Malaysian Gov [Dad! He's teaching Eng! Not History or whatever.] written by another Mr.Ranjit Singh Maldhi.. which is definitely not the one sitting rite in front of

Well, they were laughing a lot la.. whatever.. Anyway, ranjit didn't have anything much to say about me *coz I'm such an angel.. Haha* except I'm doing well in ENG!! Yay!! It's totally my fav subject coz i dun really need to study for it... You know what I mean. Juz compare it with my other sciences... Damn lot of work...!!

Then, I waited in line for 1 of 2 lecturers... either I get leela or Dr.Ooi {bio} 1st.. and.. I got Dr.ooi.. and he was kinda blur blur. When my dad asked whether the UAI was based on region or international~~ which he could fully ask me anyway...Since I know~~Dr.Ooi said region! And I rmb that it wasn't so... In the end, he asked leela...which she said, INTERNATIONAL of coz! Duh!! Whatever! Dr.Ooi oso nothing much 2 say..except good things!! *Winks*

Then, I decided that i should wait in line to see Mr.Leong {phy} coz there were not so many ppl waiting at dat time... and horrors of horrors!! When it was time, my dad told Mr.leong that I do not read enuf of the newspapers (I REALLY DO READ EH!!) and leong also said that he had to cut out newspapers cuutings for his daughter and that his wife only reads the entertainment page!

Man! They were really hitting it off! Fathers!! lol.. Whatever...! So, there I was 'grinding my teeth', trying not to laugh coz I was thinking of leong cutting out newspapers for his daughter! Eh! Those of you who know him & reading this blog, do you find this hilarious?! And I was also imagining him berating his wife for only reading entertainment news!! HAHA!! :D But at least leong didn't say any bad things abt me *Well, he was kinda in a pretty good mood that day, smiling all over his face.. Maybe he was anticipating what to tell the parents of the naughty students??* Well, it does not concern moi eh..

Wait! I almost forgot! He said something that I think is funny. He told my dad that I have 'a good group of frenz'... & I tried to be conversational and all so I pretended that I didn't know who he was talking abt...

And went: 'Oh! You're talking about yuki they all?

And he said (I think la, can't really rmb)---> 'Who else? You're alwiz with them, right?'

So I replied: 'Yeah. Sir, you're very observant..'

Anyway, leong then said: 'That's my job. So, here I'm to report to your parents...' -_-

After a few minutes of trying not to laugh, it was finally over! Then I wondered whether to wait in line for leela or UPO [university placement office] Decided 2 spilt up with my dad... Each wait for one... How's that for strategy?? Hehe...

Anyway, we're lucky that we got leela {chem} 1st after a terrible long wait which I spent gossiping with my frenz about what the lecturers said lo... Some of the comments made were pretty funny but it'd be politically incorrect to repeat them here.. relax my frenz... Your secrets are safe wif me...! Aikz.

Well, leela had nothing but nice things to say abt me! :D She said I was ---> Excellent, a good girl, responsible (Huh?! Is this for real?) and dunno some more what... Can't rmb so many adjectives.. :P [Well, ppl never praised me to my face like that before ah..]

Anyway, she asked my dad not to worry abt me.. Let's hope that keeps my dad happy! I think i got off lucky since she was rather "straightforward" about other ppl to their parents.. I swear she told a mother that her son/daughter {which was not present} that he/she was very lazy a couple of times... Talk about being matter-of-fact! Go figure!

Pheww. Finally got that out of my system liao! Anyway, then my father decided that he wanted to talk to UPO... So we sat in line... AGAIN. Argghh.. Whatever. And when simone looked at my result (which I think is quite okay) she said: 'This is good but not good enuf... If you're looking to take up australia...' which I then protested inwardly that I was not going to a uni in Aus... So there! Anyway, due to this, I got a relatively mild lecture from my dad on the way home in da car.. I think its becoz the other lecturers painted such a flaming good picture of me that he did not lecture me so badly... Thk God!

After that episode, my dad said it was time to go! But I asked him what abt my maths lecturer, Mr Goh? *He might have bad things to say abt me leh... Nah, I din really say that! lol.* Dad said he's lazy to wait liao... and actually I juz really wanna hang out with frenz, not hear my lecturer ramble abt me... So i said bye! to frenz and that was that!!

Really an unusual day I guess! Hakuna matata! NO WORRIES! :P

Not-Bad Week, I Guess...

Well, nothing much to say except that this week was a pretty good one excluding monday, that is. Since this monday was the-day-b4-passing-up-physics-assignment-day... which is practically the day where everything falls apart...

My experimental value had an amazing total error of 34.47%!!! OMG!!! I think that really beats everyone's record...! -_-

So, in the end, I had to repeat the experiment after I gobbled my lunch alone.... Since somehow my frenz knew beforehand that they're going out for lunch and stupid me didn't know.. So there was I sitting in cyber -- really the picture of loneliness eating spaghetti that didn't taste too good -- and I was already feeling frustrated bcoz of my stupid phy assignment!!! Arggh! Thk god that's over now!

And since I din know whether my results were accurate... I decided to do it again during my free period... And I have to rush around like a mad person coz I was carpooling with my fren and can't be late!! :O

But other than that, I guess the other days were pretty good! We went out for lunch everyday! That was great coz I have been eating the food in cyber for like almost everyday... and I'm pretty fed-up oredi (pun intended)!! The funny thing was, we went to this kopitiam on tuesday... and guess who we met there?? Mr.Ranjit and some other admistrators. And he was pretty friendly and even said Hi to us!! Hehe.

Then we went to have our lunch lo.. Hokkien mee never tasted so nice... considering I'm escaping an eternity of spaghetti and chicken chops... Scary. Come to think of it.

I guess there's nothing much to say oredi.. I'm feeling a little lazy too.. Anyway, nothing special sticks out in my mind... Gtg!

Bring Out The Personality In You!

I got this personality test from lydia's blog and below are my results... Coincidentally, my results are the same with her's for the 1st one.. Hmm...

~*~Beautiful Soul~*~You're the type of person who is loving, giving,
sweet, generous, genuine, and optimistic. You
see the beauty around you and you admire it for
its faults, as well as perfections. Most likely
a dreamer, you are highly respected and liked.
People like to be around you because you make
them happy. You have a wonderful personality
and you're beautiful inside and out!

Fire element

Your element is Fire. Like fire, you have a hot
temper and you can be warm and loving as well
and angry and wild. It all really comes down to
what you are feeling. You have a lot of close
friends who you are very protective over, and
with your temper probably some enemies too. You
are not Miss Popular in school since you are
your own person and don't want to be forced
into behaving this or that way. You are the
untamed wild horse, the kind that everyone
wants to catch. But you don't want to be tied
down for the moment and just keep going with
your little crushes. Your will is strong and if
you set your mind to do something, you will
most likely succeed. But beware, your friends
may not always accept your mood-swinging
behaviour. Even if you don't mean to be mean,
they can still feel hurt. You just need to
start thinking some things through before you
do them, and not always jump in with so much
courage. One day you may be hurt because of
that, but then again, your element isn't fire
if you start to analyse situations before you
act. After all, your nature is to shoot first
and ask the questions later.

What is your element? [with pics + 7 outcomes + detailed answeres!]

Boredomness is the Mother of Writing?

Hmmm... Kinda dunno what to write rite now... coz my fren lydia kinda 'force' me to online (not that I don't enjoy but I really prefer going down into the music room below to jam it out wif my new love a.k.a. the DRUM SET!! Anyway, nothing's interesting going on in my life right now except that I'm really bored.. Is that even remotely interesting? Guess not... Haha.

*Looking around and casting my eyes around for a topic*

Yes! Finally got a topic oredi: Yesterday, I juz went for my MUET speaking exam..

Let me tell you, it was a disaster!! Yikes!! The topic my batch got (the 11pm batch, lucky me, got to wake up late...haha) was--->Young ppl today have a lot of stress and tension in their lives. Suggest the best way to help them relieve this stress. (This is not the exact version of the question but juz the gist that I remember.. Hehe.)

The way given to me was 'talking to frenz' which was one of the best ways!! Yes!! But somehow I managed to mess it up by talking wayyyy too fast... I really mean it when I said I talked too fast!!! OMG!! We're given 2 minutes for the individual speech and I managed to finish mine in like 1 minute... and one of da invigilators (she was pretty kind actually) even said and I quote: "Candidate A (that's me!), you still have one more minute to go, so pls continue... Slow down... Don't go so fast..."

Yikes! Talk about embarassing... I was going as fast as a bullet train that I'm afraid that they won't understand what I was saying juz now... Damn! I really hope they won't penalize me for that... at least linhui-- she's Candidate B'-- said that she could understand what I was babbling abt... Thk God!!

Then after all the others have spoken, it was time for our dicussion which was supposed to last for 10 minutes.. I think we all did pretty well (though linhui disagrees.. Why??) coz we're cracking jokes and the friendly invigilator was laughing with us too (mind you.. it's with us, not at us...)

So, let's juz say that the atmosphere was pretty terrific for a formal discussion that was supposed to be some sort of test.. Haha. Anyway, I think I did pretty well for the discussion--let's hope that I get some brownie points to cover up my lousy speech... *Prays although I'm agnostic*

Btw, after the 10 minutes thingy, which I think we used up only 8+ minutes, we're supposed to agree on one... and... they agreed to mine due to my wonderful argueing skills that I gained from debating.. Juz kiddin. It's pretty obvious that that way was the best

Right, I forgot to mention what the other ways were so how are you suppose to judge? This is the way how teenagers "supposedly" handle stress/tension:

Candidate A---> Talking to frenz (Yea, that's me!)
Candidate B---> Exercising regularly (Huh? Did I hear that right?)
Candidate C---> Doing social work (No comment)
Candidate D---> Watching TV (Cough potato! Woo~)

Duh...right? Of coz the best way is the first, rite? And I think the last one was the worst! And poor candidate D got spattered by the three of us juz at the start of the discussion.. Haha...poor guy...

Well, let's juz cross our fingers together that I get at least a Band 4 for my MUET exam which by the way stands for Malaysian University English Test for those not in the know... Coz I'm going to need at least that to get into the uni of my choice...

May The Force Be With ME!!

Oh, yeah, Star Wars is coming out next week too... Looking forward to it... *Cross fingers*

The Return of Me..! Self Discovery Workshop..

Ooo.. Haven't posted in a few days due to a much regretted computer malfunctioning.. Something wrong about my security settings that prevented me from accessing most websites especially any website that needed me to sign in!!!

The repairman said that my pc kena spyware leh...!! I have to reformat my whole pc...leading to the immense loss of my emoticons... I hav been collecting a lot liao leh... Arggh.. and that tore me away from my blog for so many days!! Well, to be honest, there is nothing faintly interesting for me to write except that to my despair, college life has resumed its usual path.. Haha.. Juz kidding..

I was pretty much dying of boredom anyway and couldn't wait for the new semester to star.. Secretly, part of me still IS in holiday mood.. lol.. Well, that's me… During the holidays, I want the semester to start.. When the semester do starts, I desperately want the holidays back so I can relax!!! Actually, many ppl are also like that coz when I mentioned it to them, they totally agree with me.

Well, there's nothing much to say that except that I attended a MBTI or (was it MBIT?) workshop this saturday... and it was pretty cool and fun compared to the last one I attended where ppl were supposed to learn how to use their brain which I oredi know pretty well, thank you very much... lol. Anyway, this workshop was pretty useful as I 'got to know myself a little better'...

Ok, guess what I got for my personality test?? *Drum roll pls* I'm a ENTP...that stands for Extraversion, iNtution, Thinking, Perceiving.. I'm kinda lazy to explain everything so I will juz plagairize this part from my fren, lydia's blog... so, let's take off!! (Thks, lydia..)

This workshop was called the 'self-discovery' workshop. We filled in a questionaire called the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) *This questionaire is copyrighted & usually costs ard RM40 to it, the coll let us do it for free!* and then from there we get our 'reported MBTI type'. Then the trainers explained the letters & their meaning & then we self-estimated our own type.

Then we compared both the types according to a table which lists out our abilities & all tat (seen above). Then we chose one that suits us most. That is our 'best estimate MRTI type'. There are the E (extroversion) v.s. the I (introversion). Extroverts are the ppl who ..uh.. talk alot. And Introverts are the ppl who dun talk so much. Hehe... E's are ppl who tend to talk a lot in discussions n I's are those who tend to keep their thoughts to themselves & speak up only when necessary. I estimated myself to be a slight I (well, let's juz say I was confused...linhui must be laughing coz she knows I talk too much!!). Blek.

There are the S (sensing) v.s. the N (iNtuition). Sensing are ppl who take in information more by their five senses. intuition ppl take in more by... intuition. :P So the eg. given to us of a sensing person is one who will bake a cake that is proclaimed delicious by everyone & then the next time he bakes a cake, he will try to produce a same kind of cake as the first one.

The intuition ppl pula, will still wan to bake a cake tat is different from the first one bcuz he just feels like experimenting with it. The S are also ppl tat are more realistic & take a down-to-earth approach whereas N are ppl that like to fantasize more. I estimated myself to be a moderate I.

Anyway, there are also the T (thinking) v.s. the F (feeling). T are ppl who do things more according to logic & experience whereas F are ppl who do things more according to their feelings. F are ppl who take more care abt others feelings. T are ppl who prefer justice & fairness. Eg. given was T is one who feels more able to reprimand a teammate or fire a worker if he wasn't doing a good job. F are ppl who feel difficulty in doing tat 7 would rather to find another way around it even though it costs them. I estimated myself to be a T. But sometimes I think that I could act like a F person too... It depends on the situation, I guess...

Last pair: J (judging) v.s. P (perceiving). J are ppl who are organised, like to plan ahead, dun like too many changes in plans, & feel stressed out by last min stuff. P are ppl who are more flexible, spontaneous, takes things casually, more adaptable to changes & tend to do things at last min. I estimated myself to be a J due to sum ppl's comments that I alwiz try to get work done early... but... I came out as a P... Go figure. lol...

My reported mbti type : ENTP

My MBTI type self-estimate: INTJ

My best estimate MBTI type: ?NT?

All these types are supposed to be the natural self of us, not the 'study self' , nor the 'working self' nor the 'under-stress self'. :P So dun associate studying with your natural self unless you find studying a pleasureable thing to do. Really!! And usually there is no middle path oso. {I'd really prefer to walk the middle path anyway... I thought moderation is the key?}

Either you are an E or an I. The trainer told us we all had a prefered side to us, like sum of us prefer using our right hand or sum prefer the left hand. If we are able to use both hands equally well, our brain would face a dilemma each time we wan to pick up sumthing as it wun be able to decide which hand to use everytime. haha. so there would be sum hesitation b4 actually picking up sumting & therefore it doesn't work tat way.

You would only prefer one hand better. it is the same for all these types. You either are born an E or an I. Yyour preferred type can change. But tat is alwiz due to environmental factors.

Anyway, we did sum activities in groups for each of the types & saw tat each type really had its own personality. Opposing types really had totally different ways of coping in the same situation!.. It was funny & hilarious in certain situations. The workshop made us see more clearly why diff ppl react in diff ways & why we get along better with certain ppl than others. The moral of it is tat we should learn to accept each others differences & learn to get along with everyone. Yay!!

Ok. This part is from lydia's blog albeit with a few changes from moi... Anyway, I think that's all for now... Going to be a very long post lo.. If i continue.. Don't want your eyes to pop :P

PS:- Hey, guys! PLS visit my new blog thru the link on my right hand corner of this blog that says--> My Alter Ego!! It's going to be one hella of a ride so enjoy it!! :D
